Even this year, it is easy to find things to be thankful for. NAMI Beaver County wanted to give a good helping of hope and kindness to go along with that turkey and stuffing!!

There is no greater love than the love of food!!!!

Being Thankful:

We sometimes have a difficult time recognizing positive circumstances when it feels like negativity is surrounding us. If we take a step back, we can identify that not all hope is lost and that we have family members, friends, memories, jobs, or hobbies in which we can find happiness.

For Thanksgiving this year, believe that we will overcome the darkness and uncertainty of the pandemic and all that has stemmed from it. We can take comfort in knowing that there is light on the horizon and all pain heals with time.

Let us be thankful that the storms pass and that growth and sunshine follow. Let us be thankful that we are in this together and we can be understanding and sympathetic toward each other as we navigate this road. Let us be thankful that we can be good to one another and express love and compassion, even if we can’t be together.
